Have been struggling with the colon being inside most of the time since my last surgery.
As a background, I went through surgery in May 2023. This was as an emergency as the artificial abdominal wall didnt get along with my body which was placed in 2022, and it created infection. We saw the skin started paling and after few hours fluid started coming out.
After the artificial wall got removed, my colon went inside as it was not getting the support at the bottom. As a result, I am facing eliostomy bag leakage almost every day, and sometimes 4-5 times a day. This has also affected my professional life as the bag leaks during my office hours as well. Every time I have to go back to my car and get the whole bag changed. This takes at-least 30 mins to 1 hour depending on how sticky/dry the skin is at that point of time.
Apart from this above crying, I had a good day when it comes to professional life. I had a good presentation and was able to present my project to co-workers from another region. We are planning to implement some part of the project to a new solution that we are planning to develop. Excited for sure but also hoping to recover as soon as from the surgery so that I can get back to my workstation as I always miss it a lot.
Then again I got the confirmation from the team for whom I developed the project that the solution is working as expected and they are happy with the overall solution.
Regarding my YouTube channel (www.YouTube.com/@The.Data.Scientist), I am thinking to change the strategy of posting content. I am still thinking about it and will give it a bit more thought.
